Camellia Ceylon Tea is a third-generation family endeavor, built on the foundations of a rich heritage passed down by our ancestors. Originally tea planters and merchants, we have revitalized our legacy to share Single-Origin Pure Ceylon Tea directly from the southern hills of Sri Lanka to the global market.
Our name is drawn from the botanical Camellia Sinensis — the mother plant of all authentic tea. For us, it represents a deep respect for nature, purity, and the patience required to produce exceptional flavor.
We specialize in low-country teas, meticulously gathered from selected southern estates of Sri Lanka. Here, the warm climate, humid coastal air, and nutrient-packed soils yield a bold, coppery infusion with a rich, smooth body and a lingering sweetness. This unique terroir cannot be replicated anywhere else on earth.
To protect this natural character, we refuse the industrialized shortcuts of modern mass production. Every leaf is hand-plucked at dawn when the dew is fresh, withered on traditional wood-tat beds, and rolled slowly using traditional orthodox machinery. This ensures the integrity of the leaf is preserved, delivering a cup of unmatched character and soul.
